All original baby! It is very rare that we get a guitar in the store from the 50s and 60s that hasn’t had some kind of change made to it over its historic life. In fact, this may be a first!
Quite frankly, this is one of the nicest guitars that we’ve had in. 60s slim tapered neck, P-90s that both have depth in the neck and almost sound like an enraged Tele on the bridge, the level of diversity that this guitar offers is outrageous. You can easily drift from smooth, silky Jazz to fist pumping blues and leg tapping country.
There is slight lacquer cracking which adds to its mystique. The frets are low but still play perfectly well.
If you’re looking for both a guitar to treasure and play but also offers a great investment opportunity this guitar definitely falls easily into all categories.
It’s been a pleasure being its legal custodian and we will miss it when it’s gone.
