The Tuxedo! The first ever fretless wonder was a 1954 custom Les Paul. This era of guitar holds a truly special place in our hearts.
The neck pick-up (Alnico V) is the sweetest and creamiest of all Gibson pick-ups. Discontinued in early 1957 for being too expensive it is a silky blend of aluminium, nickel and copper. A super sensitive yet highly powerful presence in any guitar.
This guitar features a fully accurate historic spec. The most noteable departures from its original incarnation are a wrap around bridge and a sixties, slim tapered neck. Other than these two anomalies, it is the real deal and does not betray its heritage.
